The Best Of British Variety Tour is back for its third consecutive year in 2010 after the huge success of the last two years. This unique tour unites the cream of variety entertainment from past decades and is coming to Huddersfield Town Hall on Monday 27 September.

After popular demand Paul Daniels and The Krankies who took part in the inaugural tour return to Best of British alongside the host for the show the irrepressible Christopher Biggins, Irish singer Dana, The Grumbleweeds and for the first time as a solo act one half of one of the most famous comedy double acts since comedy began Syd Little of Little and Large fame. The impressive line-up includes British institution Christopher Biggins, actor and winner of the 2008 'I'm a Celebrity Get Me Outta Here' and current co-presenter with Lesley Joseph on BBC London, who will be hosting the show.

Joining him will be multi-award winning entertainment magician Paul Daniels, whose impressive career includes TV, headlining in Las Vegas and Broadway, not to mention entertaining royalty and Prime Ministers around the world.

Scottish married couple The Krankies have a career in show business spanning over 40 years. As well as touring live, they are well known for their catchphrase Fan Dabi Dozi and from many eighties TV shows Crackerjack, Krankies Klub, The Krankies Electronic Komic to KTV.

Family favourites The Grumbleweeds have a career spanning over three decades, bringing their entertainment to cabaret clubs, concerts, pantomines and summer seasons across the country. Their major breakthrough came with their award winning Radio Two series 'The Grumbleweeds', which ran for 15 series from 1979 to 1988. Original members Robin Colvill and Graham Walker continue to enjoy success appearing on TV in Emmerdale, Heartbeat and Coronation Street.

Syd Little found fame as one half of the massive comedy double act Little and Large, the recipients of numerous awards for their TV, club and theatre performances throughout the country, including their own BBC TV show which ran for fourteen years. Little and Large are established as one of Britain’s finest double acts and recently celebrated 48 years together. Syd frequently appears on television and radio and recently featured in ITV’s Ant and Dec`s Saturday Night Takeaway, Trust Me I’m A Holiday Rep and Channel Four’s Big Brother Party with Jodie Marsh, as well as BBC Radio2 and Radio 4.

International recording artist and one of Ireland's most successful entertainers, Dana, completes the line-up. Dana has enjoyed outstanding acclaim through best selling recordings, top rating television appearances and major headlining concerts both in Ireland and abroad. She rose to fame after winning the Eurovision Song Contest for Ireland in 1970 with the song ‘All Kinds Of Everything’ which reached Number One in the UK. She is a TV personality on major domestic and international programs, including her own hit series, A Day Out with Dana (BBC), Wake Up Sunday (BBC), and the Dana Series (RTE). She has also been a successful politician until recently.
