Cornish Funny man Jethro comes to Huddersfield in October

Cornwall’s Minister of Culture, Jethro, brings his latest laughter-loaded show to Huddersfield Town Hall on Sunday October 23 at 7.30pm for another hilariously funny evening of slightly naughty entertainment.

Jethro is the world’s funniest Cornishman and he brings his unique brand of irrepressible and irresistible West Country wit, which is definitely ‘For Adults Only’, to Huddersfield for a fun-filled night of comedy.

With his very own, uniquely irreverent, style of delivery, Jethro is one of the cheekiest comedians around and his latest tour sees the popular comic regaling audiences with the best of his classic stories from his successful career, alongside his new material, as he undertakes a journey through his mischievous repertoire of adult material.

Jethro’s latest show promises more tear-jerking tales featuring his mate Denzil and other renowned friends Slipalong Trevaskis and Bill Pedureare, which combine to provide an enjoyable evening’s entertainment of comedy and storytelling from the Cornish master.

During the evening, Cornwall's best loved comic takes a look at life - as only he can! He will share his hilarious observations on life, deliver his own amusing perceptions of theory and reality, and bring you up-to-date with Denzil’s latest exploits.

Jethro’s show is packed with witty observations and thigh-slapping gags, and you won't find a funnier night of adult humour anywhere in the West Country.

Jethro has also made a record nine appearances on the Des O’Connor Tonight! Programme, and appeared on Jim Davidson’s Generation Game five times, twice to make a Cornish Pasty! In fact, Jim Davidson is a big fan of the Cornish Comic and says Jethro is his favourite storyteller. However, Jethro was particularly honoured to appear in the Royal Variety Show in front of the Queen in December 2001.

Visitors to Huddersfield Town Hall can look forward to an enjoyable evening’s entertainment of comedy and storytelling from the Cornish master. Tickets are priced at £18.50 (no concessions) available from Kirklees Booking Offices tel: 01484 223200 / 01484 222444 / 01924 324501 or book online at http://www.kirklees.gov.uk/townhalls
